Welcome to MTC Taxi (“the Company”, “we”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our transportation services, provided either directly by MTC Taxi or through partner drivers and companies (“Partners”).
By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Service

MTC Taxi provides passenger transportation services in Porto Rafti, Markopoulo, Athens Airport, and other areas, either directly or through trusted partners.
Bookings may be made by phone, website or other electronic means.

2. Bookings

Customers may request a transfer by providing required details (name, phone, pickup location, destination, and time).
A booking is considered confirmed only after the customer receives a confirmation message (by phone, SMS or email).
MTC Taxi reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if no vehicle is available or for other reasonable operational reasons.

3. Pricing & Payment

Trip prices are determined according to the official MTC Taxi tariff or a special agreement with the customer.
Payment options:

  • 💶 Cash to the driver

  • 💳 Card (where POS is available in the vehicle)

  • 💻 Online payment (pre-payment through approved platforms)

For prepaid bookings, MTC Taxi acts as a payment intermediary and forwards the amount to the executing partner.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Customers may cancel their booking by contacting MTC Taxi as soon as possible.

  • More than 1 hour before pickup: no charge.

  • Less than 1 hour: a cancellation fee (e.g. €5–10) may apply.

For prepaid bookings, refunds are issued using the same payment method within a reasonable period.

5. Delays & No-Shows

If a driver is delayed due to traffic or force majeure, MTC Taxi will notify the customer immediately.
If the customer fails to appear at the pickup location without notice, the ride may be charged as completed.

6. Liability of MTC Taxi

MTC Taxi and its partners make every effort to provide safe and punctual transport.
However, the Company is not liable for:

  • delays caused by traffic, weather or unforeseen events,

  • lost items left inside vehicles,

  • damages arising from incorrect information provided by the customer.

In any case, MTC Taxi’s total liability is limited to the value of the relevant trip.

7. Partner Drivers

MTC Taxi works with licensed professional drivers holding valid TAXI or EDX permits.
All partners are independent contractors responsible for legal compliance and passenger safety.
MTC Taxi acts as a coordinator and intermediary between customers and drivers.

8. Passenger Conduct

Passengers must treat drivers, vehicles, and other passengers with respect.
MTC Taxi reserves the right to refuse service in cases of abusive or unsafe behavior.

9. Personal Data Protection

MTC Taxi processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data is used solely to manage bookings and contact the customer.
Customers may request data correction or deletion at any time.

10. Safety

All vehicles operated by MTC Taxi or its partners are insured and comply with Greek transportation regulations.

11. Amendments

MTC Taxi reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Updated versions will be published on www.mtctaxi.gr and take effect immediately.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Greek law, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
